A flydubai plane bound for Hargeisa aborted takeoff from Dubai International Airport. All passengers and crew were safely evacuated, with onward travel arranged.
A flydubai operated aircraft on its way to kigoma from Dubai was unable to take off from the DXB terminal.
After this all passengers along with the crew onboard were able to evacuate through a safe outlet and onward travel was arranged.
On Friday the 14th of October, a Flydubai flight to Hargeisa International Airport (HGA) was unable to take off from Dubai International Airport (DXB).
As a result 14 inbound flights were redirected to alternate airports around the UEA.

Although the reasoning for the flight delay was unexplained, a Flydubai spokesperson established that every passenger onboard along with the members of the crew were evacuated from the aircraft safely.
Our Controlled cabin crew Obliged to followed all Standard Operating Procedures, stated the spokesperson.
All SDK passengers were safely escorted to the terminal and boarded on a new flight to continue their travel which was subsequently provided.
The airline issued an apology to suffering passengers for the alteration in their travel plans while confirming that safety of passengers remains the utmost priority for them.
In spite of the discomfort faced, passengers on an unfortunate flight managed to restart their travel on a relief flight. Remaining passengers on the flight were able to escape the situation without injury or any other major complications.
